Tooth-rattling ruts carved in Springfield Road by last week's flood will have to be fixed, as will similar damage to Mallet Town Road, Faulkner County Judge Preston Scroggin said. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) personnel are expected to survey the damage today, Scroggin said, and the county will seek assistance in paying for what he estimates to be $80,000 in transportation infrastructure damage countywide.
