A gathering of Conway folk singers will gather at 7 p.m. on Friday to pay tribute to one of their own, the late Faril Simpson.

Advent Lutheran Church, 900 Farris Road, is sponsoring the 14th Annual Advent Cafe Benefit Concert for Bethlehem House, a transition shelter for the homeless in Faulkner County.

Simpson was a folk singer, songwriter and storyteller who passed away in October.

The lineup of performers will include Ashley Fleener; Carlos Summers and Doug Burton; John Murphy; The Boomers; Happenstance; Kat Hood-Glisich, Chuck Gilbert & David Seago; and Buddy Case.

Admission is $7 adults and $5 students with 12 and under free. Coffee and desserts will be sold with all door and dessert proceeds to benefit Bethlehem House.

Additional donations will be accepted.

Up to $1,600 will be matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
