The 2014 Guy Peachfest will be held July 11-12. The event will offer rides for the first time in its three-year existence.

Friday’s events will include Star Amusement Company’s rides and a midway for children young and old from 5-10 p.m. A rodeo and Gospel singing featuring The Moneys, and also Randy Thorn and Soldiers of the Cross, and Straight Up are also scheduled.

Saturday’s events will include the 5K run/walk, parade, skeet shoot, classic car show & shine, mini tractor pulls, lawn mower races, softball tournament, peach cook-off, pancake breakfast, poker run, horseshoe tournament, vendor booths, rides 9 a.m. until closing, Guy’s Got Talent Karaoke & Talent Contest, and fireworks.

Live music will be held on stage and performed by Doubleshot, One Way Road, the Neil Bradley Band, and the Mount Olive Baptist Band.

All Veterans will be honored in the parade. Veterans of all ages and from all branches of service are welcome to take part. The Parade line up starts at Guy School parking lot at 9 a.m. The Parade will start at 10 and will end at the Guy City Park.
