"Deathtrap" is a comic thriller which finds Sidney, a successful Broadway playwright going through a dry spell. He then makes the decision to steal the work of his student and calling it his own. In the meantime, the suspense mounts as the plot begins to twist and turn with devilish cleverness and an abundance of thrills and laughs.
"Deathtrap" is the longest running thriller ever to run on Broadway. The 1982 film version featured Michael Caine, Christopher Reeve and Dyan Cannon. The play does have mature themes.
The play will also be presented in February in McCastlain Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus.
