Producers who want to learn the finer points of propagating and growing tomatoes have an opportunity at 5:30 p.m. Monday at "Putting 2 and 2 Together: A Propagation Workshop," to be held at the Office of Emergency Management Systems in Conway.

"We’ve heard from tomato growers that they want to know more about propagation," said Kami Marsh, Faulkner county extension agricultural agent with the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.

"We hope this will be a good place to find answers to their questions."

The $5 registration fee covers a light supper and materials.

For registration and other information, contact Kami Marsh, 501-329-8344 or kmarsh@uaex.edu.

The workshop features John Gavin, Bradley County extension staff chair for the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture and Dr. Craig Andersen, U of A Vegetable Specialist.

The OEMS building is on Acklin Gap Road off Highway 65, toward Greenbrier.
