Late Night at the Lantern presents "The Laramie Project" Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m.
The play is under the direction of Cindy Romeo.
The Laramie Project is the true story of Matthew Shepard, a University of Wyoming student who was brutally murdered in October, 1998.
Moises Kaufman and members of Tectonic Theatre Project traveled to Laramie to conduct interviews with those who lived there.
Some were indirectly connected to the crime while others were merely residents, but all were reeling from the shockwaves of what shouldn’t have happened in their small town.
Admission is $10 at the door. Reservations are not required. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
Seating is first come/first served. The play is recommended for mature audiences.
