Summer Session I at Conway Adult Education Center will begin 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4 at 125 Center Street (formerly Sallie Cone Elementary) across from the Conway Station Baseball Complex.

General education classes will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and again in the evenings on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

During summer hours, certified teachers will be available for students age 18 or over who need to obtain their GED credential or brush up on their math or writing skills in preparation for college or to improve workplace skills.

The WAGE Job Training Skills Program will be open for classes from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. May 28-31, and June 3–28, at the 1500 N. Museum Road, Suite 110 H location. Satellite classes will be held at the Conway Adult Ed Center on 125 Center Street from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30p.m. May 28–30, and June 3–20.

Students interested in learning English as a Second Language may also attend classes starting June 4. ESL classes will be held 8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Evening classes for ESL will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

All classroom instruction, testing and study materials are free at the Conway Adult Education Center.

The current GED exam series will conclude in December. A new GED test will be administered effective Jan. 1, 2014.
