A Vilonia woman succumbed to injuries Saturday that she sustained in a May 19 two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 64/64B in Faulkner County, according to a traffic fatality report released by Arkansas State Police.

Police said Max Gregersen, 80, of Vilonia, was making a left turn around 4:16 p.m. on to Highway 64 B from the eastbound center turning lane at Highway 64 when the front of a 2003 GMC pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old male, of Vilonia, collided with the van, crashing in to the right side where his wife, Aloma, 81, was passenger.

Gregersen and the teenage driver were not injured in the accident.

Aloma Gregersen was transported to Baptist Health in Little Rock, where she later died.

Conditions were noted as clear and dry.
