LITTLE ROCK — Police in Little Rock have arrested a man who allegedly threatened to shoot people at Arkansas Baptist College.
Authorities say the suspect was on campus near downtown Monday night and told a security guard he was going to "shoot everyone" at the school.
Police arrested 32-year-old Aaron Dillard of Little Rock at 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Bishop and 15th streets.
Police say Dillard was unarmed, though he told the security guard he had a firearm.
Dillard was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, obstructing governmental operations and public intoxication.
The Pulaski County Jail's website says that Dillard was also being held on a hold by the Department of Community Corrections. It wasn't immediately clear whether he had an attorney.
