Grace Presbyterian Church is sponsoring and inviting all in the community to a special Christmas concert, "Kinsman Redeemer" which will include a Children’s Nativity Pageant, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, at the church, located at 1010 Hogan Lane in Conway.

Musical selections will include, "A Star", "How Should a King Come?", O little Town of Bethlehem," "What Strangers Are These?," "Where Shepherds Lately Knelt," "O Come to my Heart," and "A Christmas Blessing."

Choir members include sopranos Sarah Hays, Nancy Henderson, Rosanne Johnson, Cristy Mosley, Dyan Rankin and Pat Rice. Altos are Betty Ellis, Beth Hays, Carolyn Mebane, Erin Tucker and Joy Upham. The tenor section includes Sue Dablock, John Davis, Nancy Davis and Jane Hawk. Basses are Larry Dunn, Bill Johnson, Bud McConkie and Tommy Mebane.

Dr. Lyle Rupert, organist/pianist, will accompany the choir; other instrumentalists include Zac Deem, alto sax, Josh Pedersen, cello and Laura Deem, flute.

Conductor of the production is Ms. Eloise Stowe

Children’s cast members are Alexa Pedersen as Mary, Micah Tucker portraying Joseph, Jackson Mosley as the inn keeper, and serving as a shepherd, Ian Pedersen.

The church will also host a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, open to the public, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Grace Presbyterian Church, led by Lay Pastor, Jim Hays was formed in 2014. The local church formally affiliated with the ECO denomination, a Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, in 2017. The congregation recently affirmed a call to its first full-time pastor, the Rev. Rusty Mosley.

Sunday School is held each week at 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday Bible Study is at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday Worship services begin at 10:30 a.m.
