The St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church will celebrate its 128th-year anniversary of its founding beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The celebratory theme for the day is "The Lord is My Shepherd," with the scriptural emphasis being taken from Psalm 23:1. The Rev. Wayne Hoskins will deliver the message.

The celebration will be held at Toad Suck Park, Pavilion #3. The church looks forward to enjoying a great time of fellowship and worship and encourage you to dress in comfortable attire for this nontraditional service.

A meal will be served by St. James following the program.

For more information, contact the Rev. Charles E. Holloway, Sr., Pastor, at 329-8560 or 945 – 7271. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at St. James C.M.E. Church, 1304 Markham St, Conway.
