Bruce Wayne Taylor, 62, of Conway passed away Friday Oct. 16, 2009. Born in Catron, Mo., on Feb. 25, 1947, he was a son to the late Paul and Katherine (Davis) Taylor. Bruce was a loving husband, father and grandfather, an accomplished artist, who enjoyed oil painting and writing. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his family. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Central Baptist Church. Bruce graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in biology and was a past vice president for United Group Insurance Companies. 

A brother Randy Taylor also preceded him in death.

Survivors include the mother of his children, LaQuita Taylor of Conway; his son, Heath Andrew Taylor of Fayetteville; daughter, Regan Elizabeth Taylor of Conway; granddaughter, Morgan Taylor and a sister, Linda Cole (Gib) of Cleveland, Ark.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.  

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral homes, with the Rev. Gib Cole officiating. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
