Step back in time and visit the Faulkner County Museum during its 6th annual Holiday Open House.
The Museum and the Dog Trot Cabin will be decorated for the Christmas Season in Western style. Traditional skills demonstrations will include spinning and weaving, corn husk doll making, and sauerkraut making. There will be traditional treats of hot apple cider, coffee, and gingersnaps on the Cabin Porch. There will be a Christmas gift shop selling handmade crafts, and homemade baked goods.
The Museum Main Building and the Railroad Layout exhibit will also be open for touring. The open house will be held from 10-4 p.m. Nov. 14 and from 1-4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Faulkner County Museum, 801 Locust St. Conway. Admission is free and donations will be gratefully accepted.
