Mary Frances Galloway, 85, of Conway, went to be with our Lord Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009.
She was born Aug. 9, 1924, in Conway to the late William Thomas Irby and Alma Agnes Dickens Irby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.O. Galloway; son, Larry O. Galloway; three brothers and 10 sisters.
She was a dedicated member of the Second Baptist Church of Conway where she served as senior choir director.
She was a registered nurse and served as the Scott County health nurse for 12 years and retired from the VA Hospital after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Skrmetti and husband Paul of Conway; four grandchildren, Paul and Tina Galloway, Rob and Nickie Galloway, Keely and Scott Montgomery and Holly Barnard; nine great-grandchildren, Ryan and Isabella Galloway, Jackson, Collin and Grace Galloway, Gavin and Talan Montgomery, Brandon and Chloe Barnard and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, 327-7727, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Stowe, Adam Stowe, Brooks Smith, Mike Irby, Eddie Martin, Kenneth Carter and Kenny Smith.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
