Wesley United Methodist Church has announced upcoming events.
Sunday is United Methodist Women Sunday.
The UMW members will be in charge of the worship service, and Dana Addison, director of development at Camp Aldersgate, has been invited to be the guest speaker.
After the worship service, a dinner of beans and ham, cornbread and dessert will be served.
The dinner is free; however, donations are welcome and will go to mission work of the Wesley United Methodist Women.
On Monday, Wesley United Methodist Church will be the site of a stroke screening hosted by Life Line Screening.
The four ultrasound screenings include stroke/carotid artery, heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and peripheral arterial disease.
This four-test package will be offered at a discounted price.

On Monday evening, Donna Johnson, nine-year breast cancer survivor and member of Wesley United Methodist Church, will be hosting a Breast Health Awareness Workshop at the church.
It will be from 6:30-8 p.m., and there will be refreshments, handouts, as well as door prizes.

The Sunday worship service begins at 10 a.m., with Sunday school at 9 a.m. Nursery is provided.
There will also be a Wednesday evening service which includes a prayer team at 6 p.m., a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m., and a blue jean service at 7 p.m. All of the services are open to the public, and guests of all ages are always welcome.
