Chloe Garrison Williams
Chloe Garrison Williams, 78, of Marshall, passed away Oct. 23, 2009, at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway. She was born Feb. 10, 1931, to Elic and Chloe (West) Garrison in Prue, Okla.
She was a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and business woman. She owned and operated the Dogwood Inn Restaurant in Marshall for 17 years. She loved to work in her vegetable and flower gardens with Leo. She enjoyed going to the farm with Leo, spending time with her family and she was a great cook. She was an avid Bible reader and attended the Marshall Assembly of God Church. Chloe’s last concern at the hospital was her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elic and Chloe Garrison; sisters, Grace Vanderpool and Madge Young; and brother, Roy Garrison.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leo Williams of the home; son, David and wife Jane Williams of Marshall; daughters, Judy and husband Larry Jolley of Greenbrier, and Sheila and husband Wes Sossamon of Greenbrier; sister, Ruth Shaw of Marshall; brother, Eudoris and wife Mary Garrison of Marshall; grandchildren, Amber and husband Marc Tilley of Greenbrier, Tasha and husband Andy Taylor of Alexander, Dusty Jolley of Conway, Sara and husband Caleb Horton of Greenbrier, Chase Sossamon of Greenbrier and Cosby and husband Drew Moffitt of Greenbrier; great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Logan Tilley, Carter and Avery Reece Horton and Kaden Cole Sossamon.
Visitation was Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday at the Marshall Assembly of God Church with Phillip Clark, Tommy Shaw and Larry Jolley officiating. Pallbearers were Marc Tilley, Andy Taylor, Dusty Jolly, Chase Sossamon, Caleb Horton and Drew Moffitt.
Burial was in Marshall Memorial Gardens under the direction of Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall.
