Loutricia Ann Bowman, 75, of Little Rock died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Medical Center. Loutricia was born Oct. 5, 1935 in Little Rock to her late parents Eugene Walker and Margaret Jones. Loutricia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a compassionate and caring friend, a devoted Christian who was strong in her faith and was an active member of Otter Creek First Baptist Church. She enjoyed life and never met a stranger. Her laughter and spirit will be missed by many, especially the love of her life Peck. Her children and grandchildren were the joy and center of her life.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, T.A. "Peck" Bowman of Little Rock; two children, Ted Bowman of Fort Smith, and Tami McConnell (Jay) of Conway; five grandchildren, Scott Bowman (Patty) of Fayetteville, Matt Bowman and fiancé Laura Gillespie of Oklahoma City, Okla., Lauren, Laine and Bo McConnell, all of Conway, AR.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Otter Creek First Baptist Church with the Revs. Robert McDaniel and Paul Richie officiating. Burial will follow at Woodson Cemetery in Woodson, Ark. A visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Highway 5 North, Alexander, Ark., (501) 455-1067.
