Sarah Lillian Duncan Hight, 86, of Conway, formally of Morrilton, passed peacefully from this life while in the loving care of her daughter-in-law, Melissa Hight, on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010. She was born Nov. 16, 1923, the daughter of Iva Embry Duncan and Frank Duncan. 

She was the church secretary for Calvary Baptist church for several years and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Springhill. She retired from Kimberly Clark after 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Franklin, her husband of 47 years, George T. Hight Sr., her son, George T. Hight Jr. and her daughter, Kendrick Ellen.

Survivors include her son, Duncan Hight and wife Melissa of Greenbrier; and daughter, Deanna Briggler and husband John of St. Vincent. She is also survived by nine loving grandchildren, Dawnelle Fincher and husband Rick of Fayetteville; Tania Freaney of San Antonio, Texas, Ryan Hight and wife Candice, John Hight and Heidi Hight, all of Greenbrier, Kyle Hight and wife Melonie of Conway, Chris Hight of Monticello, Pfc. Cole Hight of Anchorage, Alaska, Randi Ellen Briggler of Russellville; step-grandson, Seth Fisher of Conway and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Brian Kingston officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Hospice Home Care for the care they provided during her final days.
