Theodore A. "Peck" Bowman, 83, of Little Rock died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at the Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Dec. 2, 1926 in Woodson, Ark., to his late parents William Bowman and Martha Criten. Peck’s life was an inspiration and example to his friends and loved ones. He lived a life full of hard work, faith and humility. A kind-hearted and unselfish man, he was always the first to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Peck will best be remembered for his dedication to the love of his life, Loutricia, and to his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two children, Ted Bowman of Fort Smith and Tami McConnell (Jay) of Conway; one sister, Kathryn Oates of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, Scott Bowman (Patty) of Fayetteville, Matt Bowman and fiancé Laura Gillespie of Oklahoma City, Okla., Lauren, Laine and Bo McConnell, all of Conway. He is preceded in death by his wife, Loutricia Ann Bowman.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Otter Creek First Baptist Church with the Revs. Robert McDaniel and Paul Richey officiating. Burial will follow at Woodson Cemetery in Woodson, Ark. A visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Highway 5 North, Alexander, Ark., (501) 455-1067.
