James Kimbly "Kim" Lamberth, 59 of Greenbrier passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010. Born in Jonesboro, he was a son to James O. Lamberth and the late Ona (Gay) Lamberth. Kim attained his associates degree from Central Baptist College and worked at the college for 25 years. He also worked for ILS for 15 years. Kim was a drummer for Promise Land and loved playing Christian music, spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, and especially loved riding his motorcycle. He also loved spending time with his wife on their Cadron bluff or on the beach in Florida.
Two sons, James Rodney and Seth Michael Lamberth, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years Donna (Coffman) Lamberth; son Chad Lamberth and wife Danielle of Conway; daughters Angela Nordengreen and husband Tim of Vilonia and Ashley Garrett of Greenbrier; grandchildren Jayce Lamberth of Conway, Brinley, Kate and Ethan Nordengreen of Vilonia and Clayton and Sheylbee Garrett of Greenbrier; brothers Rodney McMinn of Phoenix, Ariz., and John D. Lamberth of Hot Springs; sisters Terry Goodman of Truman and Carol Lamberth of Jonesboro. Kim and Donna were also alternate parents to Chris Camp for 21 years.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
