The Conway Christian soccer teams defeated Southside Batesville on Monday night in their 4A-East Conference openers.

Summerlin Criswell scored six goals to lead the Lady Eagles to an 8-0 romp over Southside. Casey Williams and Mo Iwamura scored a goal each.

Kelsey Lea led the defensive charge.

IN the boys game, CCS put 41 shots on goal with just one finding the back of the net. That came off the foot of Adam Ragland on an assist from Jeremy Jacobs.
