Central Baptist College’s softball team ran its winning streak to 24 games Monday, sweeping Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College 11-0 and 8-0 at City of Colleges Park.

Jessica Bock and Casey Hammons threw back-to-back no-hitters, each facing the minimum number of batters because of the five-inning run rule. No Hillsdale batter reached first base in either game, Bock struck out 14 batters in the first game, and Hammons struck out 13 in Game 2.

CBC scored 11 runs on 12 hits in the first game. Shannon Pickard was 3-for-3 with two RBI, Kristin Shock also added three RBI, while Christen Kirchner, Cassie Martin, and Kayla Lucas each added two hits for the Lady Mustangs.

In the second game, Cassie Martin was 4-for4 with a home run and four RBI, while Carly McLennan was two for two and also added two RBI to lead CBC to the 8-0 victory.

CBC travels to St. Louis this weekend for the Webster University Softball Classic.
