CABOT — Conway Christian’s junior boys took a 2-0 soccer victory Monday against Cabot.

CCS moved the ball effectively but was unable to find the goal until the 18th minute when Wesley Oliver played the ball nicely to a waiting Dylan Rodriguez, who found the net from 22 yards out putting CCS up 1-0. In the second half, Josia Smith had plenty of room down the left side of the field finally crossing the ball into the box, where Aaron Griffin tapped in Conway’s second goal securing the win with 14 minutes remaining.

Cabot’s attacks were thwarted by a strong back line led by Jackson Hedrick, Dakota Criswell and Noah Gillespe. Josh Watts had four saves.
