Miss Rachael Elizabeth Bronstein and Mr. Christopher Farris DeBoard were married at 5 p.m. Oct. 17, 2009, at the Memphis Botanic Garden in Memphis, Tenn. The Rev. Jamey Lee officiated. 

Music was provided by Con Brio String Trio. A reception hosted by the bride’s parents at Hardin Hall followed the ceremony. On Friday evening, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Hunt Phelan.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Michael Stuart Bronstein and Dr. Helen Georgeanna Morrow of Memphis. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Edith Davis Bronstein of Memphis and the late Mr. Bronstein and the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harlon Morrow of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. 

The bride is a graduate of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis. She received her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo., and her master’s of business administration from Tulane University in New Orleans.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leonard DeBoard Jr. of Conway. He is the grandson of Beneva Castellaw Farris and the late Mr. William J. Farris, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leonard DeBoard, all of Conway. 

The groom is a graduate of Conway High School. He received his undergraduate degree in business and his master’s of business administration from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He received his Juris Doctorate from Tulane University in New Orleans, La. 

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Lacey Claiborne Winters of Memphis, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Rebecca Foch Alspach of Medina, Ohio; Miss Sarah Elizabeth DeBoard, sister of the groom, of London, England; Mrs. Paige Freeman Hoover and Miss Mariam Ali Dilawari, both of New York; Miss Mary Lyons Mitchell of Raleigh, N.C. and Mrs. Marianne Miranda Strong of Birmingham. Mr. Lawrence Bronstein, uncle of the bride, and Mr. William Farris Jr., uncle of the groom, were readers. Miss Jennifer Leighann Jones of Memphis and Miss Lydia Davis Bronstein, cousin of the bride, of Cleveland, Ohio, served as greeters. The flower girl was Hannah Rae DeBoard, niece of the groom, of Conway. Charles Nicholas DeBoard, nephew of the groom of Conway, served as ring bearer. 

The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Michael Neil Aisen of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mr. Evan Daniel Bronstein of Memphis, and Mr. Stuart Morrow Bronstein of Memphis, both brothers of the bride; Mr. David Edward Choate and Mr. Charles Leonard DeBoard, brother of the groom, both of Conway; and Mr. Craig Thomas Watrous of Fort Collins, Colo. Ushers were Mr. John Michael Akin of Monticello; Mr. Jason Arthur Camelford of Miami, Fla.; Mr. Lance Stephen Chastain of Jonesboro; Mr. Cayce Christian Peterson of New Orleans.; Mr. Marcus Samuel Shock of Conway and Mr. Jeremy Zivko Soso of New Orleans. 

Following a honeymoon to Italy, the couple resides in Memphis, where the groom is an attorney with the law firm of Burch, Porter & Johnson and the bride is a marketing representative for Smith & Nephew, Inc.
