In competition against swimmers from Arkansas and surrounding states, the Hendrix Aquakids combined for 88 personal bests at the Mary Grace Tucker Invitational over the weekend at Little Rock.

Three swimmers earned first-place medals and four broke team records.

In the boys 13-14 division, William Bryden took first place and broke team records in the 100 and 200 butterfly with times of 1:03:80 and 2:23:04. Bryden placed third in the 100 and 200 freestyle and took fifth in the 100 backstroke and 400 individual medley. Bryden placed seventh and eighth in the 200 IM and the 400 freestyle.

In the boys 9-10 division, Anderson J. Mainord took first place in four events and broke five team records. He placed first and set records in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles with times of 32.59, 1:12:00 and 2:37:07, and the 200 IM with a time of 3:03:71. Mainord set a record in the 50 butterfly in 36:16. He also got third in the 50 backstroke.

Aaron Rieth broke the boys 9-10 50 backstroke in 39.01.

In the girls 15-18 division, Jocelyn Woo placed in the top five in every event in which she competed. She won the 100 butterfly and set a team record in 1:08:76. Woo also placed first in the 200 IM and the 100 freestyle. She came in second in the 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle and the 400 IM and fifth in the 100 breaststroke.

Royer Ramirez dropped 20.71 seconds in the boys over-15 division of the 100 backstroke.

Charles Rieth: 3. 200 IM; 4. 100 back; 5. 50 free and breaststroke; 6. 50 fly and 100 free; 8. 200 free.

Mackenzie Robinson: 1. 200 free; 4. 100 free.

David Sweere: 4. 100 free; 5. 200 IM; 6. 50 and 200 free; 7. 400 IM; 8. 100 and 200 breast.
