Two quarterbacks from Faulkner County placed in the top five last weekend in the Top Gun Quarterback Challenge at Springdale High School.

Drew Knowles of Vilonia finshed fourth overall in the skills competition with 442 points. Neal Burcham of Greenbrier was fifth with 434 points. Knowles won the deep ball competition. Burhcam was the "On the Move Accuracy" winner.

Brandon Keaton of Camden Fairview was the overall winner with 508 points, followed by Trey Schucker of Clarksville and Moe Malugen of Jonesboro.

Twenty-three quarterbacks from throughout he state participated in the competition. They competed in several off-field and on-field events that narrowed the field to 12. Those 12 threw seven balls at moving targets to determine the overall winner.
