Wanda Helen Coleman, 81, of Conway, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.
Wanda was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Moundville, Mo., to the late Frank and Helen (Hammond) Weber.
Wanda had a passion for growing things, especially flowers.
She was a member of the Home & Garden Club, serving as president for two years.
She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Conway, volunteering in many capacities.
When her children were young, she served as Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader for their troops.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by children, Rebecca Coleman-Jones (JJ) of Minneapolis, Minn., Cathy Harrison (Bud) of Mt. Vernon and Charles Coleman of Conway; sister, Jo Ann Kennon (Gene) of Lee Summit, Mo.; brothers, Dale Weber of Willard, Mo., and Harry Weber (Donna) of Joplin, Mo.; grandchildren, Gyasi and Jabari Jones, Christie Godat, Nikki Clinton, Dustin and Matthew Harrison, and Shelby Coleman; and great-grandchildren, Trinity Johnson, Tristan Clinton, Brittany and Mary Godat, and Lily and Brett Harrison.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church.
