An 18-year-old Conway man, Roderick Morris, 1912 Dave Ward Drive, was arrested Friday and charged with a class Y felony after a traffic stop led to the recovery of 47 suspected ecstasy pills.
Officer Richard Schumate of the Conway Police Department reported that Morris was pulled over on Pearce Street in Conway for speeding in a school zone and failure to yield.
Schumate observed movement in the cab of the vehicle and asked Morris to exit and place his hands on the vehicle.
During a consented search, Schumate lifted the pant leg of the suspect and "several multi-colored pills fell out."
"I sat Morris on the ground and took off his right shoe, where more pills of ecstasy fell out," the report stated.
According to Lt. Susan Wilson of the CPD, the pills are valued at $970.
Also recovered at the scene was $1,980 and an "switchblade" style knife.
