FORT SMITH (AP) — Fort Smith police are looking for a man who robbed a bank.

Sgt. Daniel Grubbs says the First National Bank was robbed about 10:15 a.m. Friday after the man entered the building and handed the teller a note demanding money. He fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured.

Authorities don’t know if the robber was armed. Grubbs says witnesses didn’t report seeing a weapon and the robber didn’t indicate he had one.

The man was described as a white male in his early to mid-40s. He wore blue jeans, white shoes, a black jacket with red sleeves and a white ball cap.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect in the case.
