GREENBRIER — MooMoo’s Yogurt Bar is opening with some lip-smacking goodies today, just south of Greenbrier in Sims Place in Spring Hill. The business is taking over the space once occupied by Rustic Comfort and are highly visible from Highway 65.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony and Grand Opening with the Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce will take place Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the owners, dignitaries from the city and Chamber of Commerce, and guests.
A sweet treat, a cup of coffee, and cappuccino will be offered in a unique concept. Customers will serve themselves yogurt and toppings, however much they want, weigh it, and pay 39 cents an ounce, including toppings. Twelve flavors of yogurt and forty-five toppings will be on the bar to choose from. The yogurt is supplied by local people. The owners have pledged some support from their profits to the media outreach of Life Word Ministry of Conway.
Travis and Jennifer Weaver, Roy and Mary Ruth Montgomery, and their best friends, Kevin and Cindy Hartman developed the idea and came up with the catchy name of this newly developed franchise that they hope to expand to other locations. The Weavers and Montgomerys own the Sims Place shopping center and Diamond Ice around town and are providing a spot to meet and have a treat. They have an event room that will hold 30 to 50 people, a kid’s play area with a coin-operated horse and jeep, and televisions and WiFi. Store Managers are Johnnie and Linda Hoffman.
MooMoo’s will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. MooMoo’s Yogurt Bar is located at 287 South Broadview, Greenbrier.
