Conway FFA President Corey Readnour unloads Christmas trees Friday morning in preparation for the Conway Morning Optimist Club’s tree sale. According to club president C.H. Turner, money raised from the sale funds youth programs around Faulkner County, including scholarships, FFA, 4-H Clubs, the Boy Scouts of America and a bicycle safety program. The Conway High School FFA will be on hand to assist the Optimist Club throughout the sale. The tree sale will be open until Christmas from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday-Friday and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Trees will be sold for $20, $25 and $30. The trees are Virginia Pines from the McAlpine Christmas Tree Farm in Bismark. STEPHANIE FISCHER PHOTO
