WEST MEMPHIS (AP) — Police in West Memphis are trying to identify the body of a woman found along railroad tracks.
Assistant Police Chief Donald Oakes says the woman's body was found about shortly before noon Sunday.
Oakes says the woman was in her early to mid-20s, black and was wearing jeans and a shirt. He said there is trauma to the body but investigators have not determined a cause of death or if foul play was involved.
He said it appears the woman died sometime Saturday night.
