The Faulkner County chapter of the Arkansas State Employees Association (ASEA) will meet on Thursday, April 19 — there will be two meeting times/places; those interested are encouraged to attend whichever is more convenient. First will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon at the Faulkner County Department of Human Services office; next will be from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the AETN office — both in Conway.

State Sen. Gilbert Baker will be the meetings’ special guest speaker, on hand to discuss the recently concluded fiscal legislative session and its impact on state employees. ASEA field representative Marc Watts will also be in attendance to conduct an election of chapter delegates for the association’s upcoming annual convention.

Free pizza will be served at the meetings; all state employees in Faulkner County are invited to attend.

ASEA is a nonprofit organization working to improve state government and state employment. It has 77 local chapters in Arkansas.
