Laura Elizabeth Deem recently passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam. Deem is a native of Conway, and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas.

Ronda Warneke, former bookkeeper and director of Community Impact at the United Way of Central Arkansas, is the new Resource Development Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Faulkner County.

She will work with Robert Wright at the Boys and Girls Club as the board completes its drive for construction of a new facility in at Conway Station Park in the old YBMA Fairgrounds on Robins St.

Warneke was formerly the director of special events for Big Brothers Big Sisters and a staff accountant for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, a life member of Junior Auxiliary of Conway and an officer of the PTO at Ida Burns and Julia Lee Moore Elementary Schools, Bob Courtway Middle School and Conway High School-East.

Head First Salon has added two new stylists to its team. Robbie Rice and Sheila Couch, both of Conway, are now both located at the 2225 Prince St., Suite 6, location, across from the Conway High School.

Rice, a haircut artist, and Couch, a perm and color specialist, have 35 years of combined experience.

Robbie has one daughter and son-in-law and two granddaughters.

Couch is married to Doug Couch and they have three children and one grandchild.
