The College of Education at the University of Central Arkansas plans to host a workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 30 and June 15 to help teachers integrate mobile devices into their classrooms.
The workshop is approved by the Arkansas Department of Education and designed to help teachers develop a "Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)" policy for their school district. The policy would utilize mobile devices in the middle and secondary classrooms so that they become a resource rather than a distraction.
The workshop will be held in Mashburn Hall, Room 234, and is open to all Arkansas educators. The workshop is free, but space is limited. To register, go to bit.ly/byotuca. For more information, email Dr. Michael S. Mills at email@example.com.
