A Faulkner County man died in an ATV accident over the Memorial Day weekend, according to the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office.
Ronald Keith McAllister, 51, was found near his residence at Slatey Ford Road, just south of Wooster.
Sergeant David Hall said McAllister was deceased when MEMS arrived, having died from a head injury.
"From what we determined, he was at a friend’s house drinking when he left on his four-wheeler to get chains from his house in order to tow his golf cart back to his residence," Hall said.
According to Hall, McAllister was ejected from the four-wheeler and hit his head on the pavement.
Hall said neighbors attempted first aid on Mcallister, but he was unresponsive.
"Witnesses said he left his friend’s house on the four-wheeler to get the chains. His friend became worried and went to check on him. That’s when he found neighbors attempting first aid on him," Hall said.
The incident occurred May 26.
