Due to inclement weather that Hurricane Isaac may bring to the area, Ashton Samuelson, owner of Pitza 42, has released the following statement announcing that the restaurant will be hosting an event called Music and Meals on Thursday, Sept. 6, instead of Thursday, Aug. 30.
"We are excited to announce that Pitza 42 has teamed up with several local businesses including Preston Palmer Studios to host the event," says Samuelson.
The event will feature music from local artists, numerous raffle prizes from businesses in Conway, food from Pitza 42, and snow cones from Yellow Snow. The goal of the event is to raise 1,000 meals in just one night! "The best part about the event is that everyone involved is doing something to help raise the meals. All of the proceeds from raffle tickets go toward the feeding program as well as Yellow Snow donating one meal for each snow cone they sell," says Ashton Samuelson.
Pitza 42 and its customers have an exciting opportunity to help end childhood hunger around the globe. The strategy is simple; PITZA 42 will donate the funds necessary to Feed My Starving Children to purchase one meal for every meal that is sold in the restaurant. In essence, every meal is for two people (42).
