Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Landon P. Lagree graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Lagree is the son of Kent and Cathey Lagree of Damascus.

He is a 2012 graduate of Conway Christian High School.

Private First Class (PFC) James Lawrence of Greenbrier recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard and has earned education benefits valued at $50,420. He will attend Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Skill Training. Upon returning to Arkansas, PFC Lawrence will serve with Headquarters Company 2nd Battalion 153rd Infantry in Searcy. He is the son of Joann Reynolds of Russellville.

Private (PVT) Hunter Mullins of Conway recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard and has earned education benefits valued at $50,420. He will attend Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Skill Training. Upon returning to Arkansas, PVT Mullins will serve with Headquarters Company 39th Brigade Troops Battalion in Conway. He is a Greenbrier High School graduate and the son of Kenneth and Melba Mullins.
