The North Faulkner County Extension Homemakers’ Council will host a ‘Coffee and Conversation’ at the Vilonia Senior Citizens Center, 10 Bise Drive, at 1p.m. Wednesday Oct. 10. Everyone is invited to attend and learn about the extension homemakers’ club and how it benefits Faulkner County.

The EHC teaches its members about the latest information concerning the home and family in areas such as health and wellness, food and nutrition, money management, leadership development and special community projects. EHC members develop skills by participating in a variety of clubs, county, district, and state events. Members also participate in community service projects.

The EHC is an extension of the University of Arkansas and membership is open to anyone. Member dues are $5 per year. Anyone interested can join can call the president of the Roadrunners’ EHC, Marie, at 581-7371 or the president of the North Faulkner County EHC Sandi aat 450-9595.
