UCA men add soccer signees

Central Arkansas men’s soccer coach Ross Duncan added five midfielders, a keeper, a forward and a defender in his newest recruiting class.

The group includes players from Utah, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and Mississippi.

"While we’ve got an excellent group in-house right now, one that is ready to go out and win games, these incoming players will help add to the mix right away," Duncan said. "The No. 1 quality we look for in our recruits is character, and I believe we’ve nailed it with this group. We have also addressed some positional needs, added depth at some positions and added overall quality to an already strong group.

"The new guys have six months to try and catch up to what the current players are doing and be ready for preseason. It’s going to be a difficult task though, as I’ve never seen a group work as hard as our guys are right now."
