Ladies Day at Robinson and Center Church of Christ
Ladies Day will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 1, at the Robinson and Center Church of Christ.
Linda Smith will be the guest speaker. She is an avid Bible teacher ranging from teaching children to jail and prison inmates. She has taught at lectures and retreats all across the United States and Haiti. She graduated from the University of Missouri where she received her MA degree in History. She uses this knowledge and love of history in two Bible DVD studies: "Tell Me the Story — His Story" and "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus — A Study of How Jesus Valued Women."
The day begins with coffee and registration at 9 a.m. and concludes at approximately 11:30 a.m., with a luncheon following. There is no charge and childcare is provided.
Ladies Days have been an annual event, organized by the ladies ministry at the Robinson and Center Church of Christ for several years. In the New Testament, the second chapter of Titus the older women are instructed to be "teachers of good things."

New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church Anniversary
New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Conway will celebrate its 10th Church Anniversary at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2. Pastor Bobby Acklin of Samaritan Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock and Pastor Elbert Credit of Lighthouse Christian Church in Conway will be the special guests. The theme for this year’s service is "Laboring Together," coming from 1 Corinthians 3:9. The Rev. William E. Forte’ Jr. is the host pastor.

The Lesters at Bethlehem Baptist Church
The Lesters will be in concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Bethlehem Baptist Church located 5 miles west of Greenbrier, 505 Highway 225 West.

Family and Friends Day at True Holiness
The 20th Annual Family and Friends Day will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, March, 2, at True Holiness Saints Center, Inc. The annual address will be given by Pastor E.C. Maltbia entitled, "The Disease to Please."

First Presbyterian Church to observe Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Lenten Season, will be observed March 5 at First Presbyterian Church in Conway, with the free offering of a simple meal of homemade soup and bread, which will be served at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church.
Following the supper, an Ash Wednesday service will be held at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary, with a brief meditation, "Dust to Dust" by the Rev. Howard Reed, transitional pastor. The chancel choir will present "Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God," by Mueller. They will be directed by Mr. Lyle Rupert, music director, and accompanied by Ms. Clara Martin, pianist.
Imposition of ashes on worshippers’ foreheads or hands will conclude the worship service.
Childcare will be available.

World Day of Prayer
Grace United Methodist Church will host World Day of Prayer — 15-Hours of Intercession for the World — from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, March 7.
Join the church for a one or two-hour shift as it intercedes for the needs of the world.
Clarence Jordan’s Cotton Patch Gospel version of the New Testament translates 2 Corinthians 5:19 "In Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself ..." in this fashion: "God was in Christ, hugging the world to Himself."
Stations will be set around the building to guide in time of prayer. Special stations will be set for children.
