The Delta Tau chapter of the University of Central Arkansas Sigma Kappa sorority is hosting its Third annual Easter Egg Hunt. The event is being held near the south pavilion at Laurel Park, Saturday, April 12, starting at 2 p.m. All proceeds benefit Alzheimer’s Arkansas Programs and Services, Ninth annual Faulkner County Walk.

The Easter Bunny will be there so participants can have their picture made with her. There are three age groups, birth-2; 3-6; and 7-10. The sorority girls are asking for a donation of $5 per participant. There will be lots of eggs and a gold prize egg for each age group. Participants can register the day of the event. Each child needs to bring their Easter basket to collect eggs in.

Alzheimer’s affects approximately 5 million Americans and over 100,000 Arkansans are diagnosed now. Alzheimer’s is the national philanthropy for the Sigma Kappa sorority.
