The under-graduates of the Delta Phi Delta sorority of the Arkansas State Teachers College entertained the 12 sorority members of the graduating class at breakfast this morning , served buffet style in the rustic lodge on the lawn at the home of Mrs. ruth Dean and Mrs. Sophia Heasley. The interior was beautifully decorated with roses and other flowers. Miss Constance Mitchell was sponsor.

Allen D. McGee, formerly of Conway, who recently completed a two-year tour of duty in the Navy, has accepted a position in Washington, D.C., with the R.H. Donnelley Corp.

McGee, 24, who graduated from Hendrix College in 1962, spent 18 months of the time he was in the Navy at Williamsburg, Va.

McGee is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe. B. McGee of this city. He is living in Washington with three other youths.

William Dale Tapley, a senior at Guy-Perkins High School and a son of Gary and Pat Tapley of Guy, has been awarded a four-year scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas beginning with the fall semester.

He plans to major in political science.

Jessica Brown, a senior at Greenbrier High School, recently was selected for admission into the Honors College at the University of Central Arkansas beginning with the 2004 fall term in August.

Brown is the daughter of Larry and Beverly Brown of Greenbrier.
