Nine years after opening their doors in Conway, Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom expanded with a new garden area room.

“This room has been vacant for a while and it’s something that I felt like Conway could use another space to have events,” Old Chicago Conway General Manager Charles Frost said. “We’re trying to stay in the middle ground as far as pricing and a casual place to come hang out and have fun.”

Frost, who won the 2017 General Manager of the Year award in September said the space can be used for several events.

“This can be a place for a large group birthday, a wedding shower and rehearsal dinner,” he said. “We are going to throwing a lot of different events.”

The first event was a Brewer’s Dinner for the Children’s Advocacy Alliance.

Frost said the room has been booked for several different events through December.

With a new room comes new options for a menu that has not yet been set in stone.

There will be brunch menu, featuring a continental breakfast, lunch menu with a pizza buffet and dinner.

The room will also feature beverages in alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices.
