Weddings and event centers

Legacy Acres

Wedding and event centers are popping up around Faulkner County for soon-to-be married couples.

Legacy Acres, a Phil and Diana Hawk’s Kirkland project, is under construction on Taylor Circle off Friendship Road.

The grounds will feature an event center, a chapel, a bride’s cottage and an outdoor pavilion.

Each building will feature a parking lot for guests.

The 12,000-square foot event center looks like an old plantation house.

It features a caterer’s kitchen, ballroom, balcony and stage.

The Chapel, which seats 320, has 24-foot ceilings and a grand window at the front of the building.

The bridal party will have their own space to prepare for a ceremony that overlooks the chapel and features a large front door and a wraparound porch.

Bride and groom suites with bathrooms flank an atrium and caterers’ kitchen.

The outdoor Pavilion, set apart from the other buildings, features a park-like setting with access to Legacy Lake.

The location is set to open in May and is located off the Wooster/Salem Road 124 exit.

Rabbit Ridge Farms

Another new event center has popped up, located outside of Bee Branch at 484 Rabbit Ridge Road, called Rabbit Ridge Farms.

The farm opened The Venue this past fall.

The hall can accommodate events hosting as many as 2,000 people.

The venue has a full-equipped kitchen where your meal can be catered by Alan and Angela Mahan with meats fresh from the farm.

There are four suites upstairs for wedding preparation or just a weekend getaway.

The Mahans have been hosting monthly dinners with live music.

The Castle

The Castle at Harmon Ranch, which is located at 227 Hwy 25 No, near Greenbrier, opened in the spring of 2017.

It offers indoor and outdoor spaces for a variety of events from weddings and proms to other dances.

The indoor facility has a stage and double staircase with a fully-equipped kitchen while the outdoor space has an arbor and a garden.

Jamestown Ranch

Jamestown Ranch, which is located at 459 Shaw Bridge Road just east of Wooster, is a 25-acre event venue that features a barn, oak trees, meadows and a lake.

The 5,000-square-foot barn has an additional 5,000-square-feet of outdoor patio space.
