The Conway Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating the person or persons involved in vehicle break-ins at a daycare earlier this week.

Two women reported going inside of Ms. Carrie’s Day School on Tyler Street around 5:45 p.m. to pick up their children.

While inside the daycare, both women’s vehicles were broken into, according to two separate incident reports.

One woman reported her Michael Kors purse valued at $400 was taken, along with her debit card, $32 in cash, checkbook, driver’s license, insurance cards and miscellaneous gift cards. The second woman reported her Coach purse, valued at $400, along with several hundred dollars worth of make-up, a Coach wallet, miscellaneous gift cards, $30 cash, debit card, insurance card and other items were taken.

CPD spokesman LaTresha Woodruff said one of the victim’s IDs and checkbook have been used in Fort Smith, Van Buren and Alma.

“The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black Toyota Four Runner,” she said. “If you have any information on this case, you are asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 450-6130 or you can text an anonymous tip to CRIMES (274-637) [using] the keyword ‘Conway’ plus your tip.
