Nick Jonas is coming to Conway.

The Student Activities Board at the University of Central Arkansas announced March 26 that the pop singer will be performing for the annual spring concert on April 22.

Director Kendra Regehr said SAB wanted to originally bring a hip-hop artist to campus but when that didn't work out, reached out to Jonas's team and that fit better with his schedule and tour dates.

The young artist will be coming to UCA for $125,000, all of which is paid for through the student activities fee, Regehr said.

"I think it's going to be great," she said, adding that since the announcement the feedback has been crazy and everyone is excited for the appearance, which will take place in the Faris Center at UCA.

Tickets go on sale Monday first for students at $15.

The general public will be able to purchase them for $25 April 4 at the Reynolds Box Office on campus.
