Conway’s Tacos 4 Life is hosting another mobile pack next week, April 12-14.
“The Conway MobilePack is celebrating its [seventh] year by packing 544,320 meals,” the restaurant’s website reads. “This is our [eighth] MobilePack here in Conway and we will be packing up 544,320 meals in [four] days.”
Tacos 4 Life, owned by Austin and Ashton Samuelson, began with a dream and a desire to open a restaurant and feed more than just those in the local area.
“They dreamed of making a difference in those who are starving in this world,” the website reads. “So with every taco, quesadilla, salad or rice bowl sold at Tacos 4 Life, one meal is donated to Feed My Starving Children.”
Community members can join the MobilePack next week and help assemble and package hose very meals locally.
Packing sign ups began March 5.
MobilePacks are divided into two-hour packing sessions where volunteers are given instructions, gather around different stations and assemble the ingredients which includes rice, chicken, soy and veggies.
“It all begins with food [… and] you can be a part of changing a child’s life,” the website states.
All ages are invited to participate.
Packing shifts start from 5-8 p.m. and 9-11 p.m. Thursday and go until 2-5 p.m. Saturday.
