From Conway Police Department reports
Neighbors squabble over trash
A 46-year-old woman called the police department after feeling threatened by her neighbor on Friday.
According to an incident report, the woman called authorities at 12:19 p.m. Friday stating "her neighbor became verbally aggressive and was threatening her."
According to her statement, the two had a dispute over trash left out on the curb.
"She said that there was some trash on the north side of the parking lot left by the property owners just north of the apartments," the incident report reads in part. "[The woman] stated that the items were trash from the previous tenants that were at the house. [She] said that she spoke to the landlord about items left in and around the clearly marked green waste management trash bin and was told the trash is considered abandoned property."
The woman said her neighbor became angered that she collected some of the trash.
"When she took some of the items that were left, her neighbor ... became irate," the report states. "[The suspect] started screaming and cursing at [the woman] when she refused to return some items, making her feel unsafe."
According to the incident report, the landlord previously told the woman's 49-year-old neighbor that he could have the items the other tenants left behind.
The responding officers informed the woman's neighbor that if he was able to get a written statement from the landlord, a theft of property report could be made so that the items could be returned.
Parents, children allegedly threatened
Two parents contacted authorities regarding threats made to their children following a fight on the school bus last week.
According to an incident report, officers were called out at 5 p.m. to the Rock Creek Apartments in reference to a terroristic threatening report.
Two parents expressed their concerns for their children and other family members after their children were allegedly threatened by a 36-year-old woman who also lived at the apartments.
According the one of the women's statements, her son was allegedly involved in a fight on the school bus with the suspect's son. Since then, the woman said she was going to "lay some people down," meaning she "intended to kill people."
The two women who reported the 36-year-old mother's statements said they were concerned for their families, noting the woman in question "has already delivered on one threat and believes that she is capable and willing to deliver on the other threats."
The police department is investigating the incident as a possible terroristic threatening act.
Husband allegedly orders food in wife's name, neglects to pay
A local restaurant manager reported receiving two to-go orders totaling $164 that were never picked up.
When the manager contacted the woman whose name was used to place the order, she said she never placed a to-go order with the restaurant and suspected her husband was possible for placing the order in her name.
According to an incident report filed earlier in the day, a 31-year-old woman requested a restraining order against her soon-to-be-ex-husband, noting that he had been harassing her since she filed for divorce. The woman said her husband had been ordering and sending food to her while at work, canceled her car insurance and had also harassed other family members over his marital issues.
The woman told authorities she just wants her husband to stop contacting her and to stop ordering food at different establishments in her name.
