Three Conway locals were recently recognized for their achievements at the higher education level.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Arts, Letters and Sciences recognized its “top students” and scholarship recipients during the school’s recent award ceremony May 1, according to a release from the school.

Kenneth Burnett received the Science and Mathematics Leadership Endowed Scholarship; Alexis Stiles received the Joan R. Taylor Scholarship; and Richard Inakpenu received the Ann Jameson Wilson Mathematics Scholarship.

“With about 11,000 students and 100 programs, UA Little Rock offers learning, research, service, social and career opportunities that can only be found at a metropolitan university located in Arkansas' capital city,” the release stated.
